Haute Couture at the Independent Paper Show 2026
We rolled out the red carpet at Espace Amaretto… And over 600 visitors accepted the invitation on 6 and 7 May 2026, travelling to Lausanne for the eighth Independent Paper Show 2026. Alongside the Paper Shapers and organisers Atelier für Siebdruck Lorenz Boegli, Sonderegger AG and Bubu AG, a further 17 exhibitors impressed with their paper-inspired creations and trends covering various aspects of paper. For paper enthusiasts, it was an inspiring place to really immerse themselves in the world of paper.
This year’s IPS in Lausanne was dedicated to the theme of ‘Haute Couture’. Right from the first few metres and even before the red carpet, guests were presented with a glittering bracelet or a signet ring (made of paper, of course). As they made their way round, visitors discovered a series of installations, samples and projects that showcased paper as a living material. Inspiration in the form of a wide variety of surfaces, materials and finishes was sampled, discussed and showcased to best effect in specific publications.
Enzed, with Nicolas and Mélanie Zentner, put their hearts into and let their creativity run wild with the cohesive design and graphic elements.
The Independent Paper Show is aimed at both professionals and the curious: graphic designers, architects or students interested in questions of materials science, production and contemporary creation. A moment of encounter and inspiration, in which paper reveals itself in all its diversity and potential.
We thoroughly enjoyed the discussions and encounters centred on haute couture, books and plenty of paper. Many thanks to all our guests and fellow exhibitors!
