Between tradition and the future

Between tradition and the future: 85 years of entrepreneurial spirit at Bubu AG

As a family business with over 85 years of history, we at Bubu AG are firmly rooted in the Zurich Oberland. These roots fill me personally with great pride. Our current corporate values stem directly from my grandfather’s ethos and continue to shape us to this day.

But just as important as our heritage is our openness to new ideas. Particularly in the ever-changing graphic design industry, we would no longer be successful in the market today without this willingness to embrace change.

A visible expression of this approach is our current presence with three independent brands:

With Bubu, we transform printed information into something you can experience – we bind emotions! From the initial concept in our Bindorama to final production, we accompany our customers throughout the entire book creation process. Whether a single copy or a large print run: we combine craftsmanship, technology and consultancy into a comprehensive service.
BUBU: ABOUT US

With Bookfactory, we pioneered the photobook market as early as 2004. We were the first Swiss company to launch software for Photo books. Today, we continue to stand for the highest quality and maximum variety, and have specifically expanded our range – always with the aim of tangibly capturing our customers’ emotions and most cherished memories.

Finally, with Bububox, we offer secure and structured archiving solutions for physical and digital content. In an era of growing data volumes and increasing compliance requirements, this sector is becoming increasingly important – and we combine modern infrastructure with personalised service.

I am delighted that our story was recently featured in TeleZüri’s ‘Made in Züri’ programme. Such insights show what defines us: the combination of tradition and innovation.

We continue to look ahead with confidence – ready for further decades full of entrepreneurial spirit, innovative drive and a willingness to embrace change.
